Doesn't work / not recommended:

• This is a Class 1 Bluetooth transceiver - proven to reach up to 164'. However, your range will depend on your connecting device and other factors (walls, people, Wi-Fi routers, Wireless TV adapters etc.)
• For TV optical output - set audio format to PCM. Dolby / DTS are not supported.
• Works as EITHER a transmitter or receiver - NOT simultaneously work as a repeater.
• Dual-Link support works best for same brand / model of headphones.
• For non low latency supported headphones / speakers (e.g. Bose, Beats, Sony headphones), BTI-042 will work with them using SBC codec with 220ms latency - Lip-sync delay could be noticed by sensitive users.
• The adapter doesn’t have a built-in mic, so it cannot support any calls or communication, and can only play or listen to sound.
• Doesn't support to pair with car Bluetooth system or any other Bluetooth sound system that requires to enter a certain PIN CODE for pairing, since BTI-018 doesn't have the keypad for you to enter the pin code.
• Not recommend for streaming live music (while playing guitar, keyboard, electronic drums etc.)
• The volume adjustment function does not work when connecting to a TV via optical fiber in TX mode. The volume can only be controlled by adjusting the volume of a device such as a TV/Bluetooth headset.

The achievable range with specific headphones depends in part on their antenna design. Larger headphones usually have an advantage over TWS earbuds and other devices with miniaturized internal antennae. As a result these smaller devices may have a shorter range. In general, operation range is affected by physical obstructions (walls, people, etc.), wireless interference (Wi-Fi routers, Wireless TV adapters etc.) as well as the receiving device.	Simultaneous Dual Link Supports the connection of two Bluetooth devices at the same time. Dual link feature also enables simultaneous streaming of two same brand headphones or speakers. Q1: I already plugged everything in - why can't hear any sound from my headphones? Some common reasons are:

1) There's no audio signal going into the BTI-042. For AUX / RCA output -

• Test TV audio output port by directly plugging in a pair of wired headphones to confirm there's sound.
• Change your TV audio OUT setting to "Headset" (for AUX) or "External Speakers" (for RCA). For Optical output. ensure your TV audio format is set to "PCM / LPCM" as the BTI-042 DOES NOT DECODE Dolby / DTS.

2) The BTI-042 and headphones are not connected properly. Repair and connect them as User Manual.

Q2: Why am I still experiencing an audio delay?

The BTI-042 supports the Low Latency codec (40ms LL) streaming audio with a <40ms audio delay that is undetectable by human ear, making it ideal for watching TV / movies / video without audio lag. However, to achieve this your Bluetooth receiver (headphones / speaker) must also support 40ms Low Latency otherwise they will connect using the standard SBC codec which has about 220ms of audio delay.
